The symptoms: you describe need evaluation by a Gastroenterologist since they do not sound like simple IBS!. You may need GI endoscopy. That said, the most common cause for the symptoms are hemorrhoids which are quite common in IBS due to the constipation that often occurs in this disease! Hope this helps! Dr Z
