Why does the CDC not allow people who've had past Hepatitis A infections to donate blood? Doesn't that virus not stay in the body after recovery?

Precaution: yes u r right there are no Hep A carriers the personis contagious during active infection CDC does not permit Hep A pts donate blood .... precautionary measures no scientific basis
