Can alli produce melanosis in the colon?

Not usually: Melanosis coli occurs with chronic laxative use, specifically the ones that have anthraquinone to cause pigmentation in the walls. It is a benign condition. As far as i know, Alli has no empiric or theoretical reason to cause this.
