Could be: I am glad you realized you had an issue with anxiety and seeked professional help. It could be that therapy alone is not good enough for your case or the counselor has not found the best way to help you get through this. It is known that medication and therapy in combo always gives the best results for depression and anxiety. Look for a psychiatrist and consider switching to another counselor

It may well be.: Your history of anxiety not responding to counseling nor to clonazepam suggests that you obtain a second opinion from a doctoral level specialist, a clinical psychologist or a psychiatrist. The correct diagnosis is most important, then review of failed therapies, then development of new treatment options. If you are FAILING there is no time to waste. Do it now.
