A member asked:

Can i take mucinex (guaifenesin) and allegra at the same time?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Plain Mucines is guaifenesin, which helps break up mucus. Allegra (fexofenadine) is an antihistamine. Be cautious when picking out medications and be sure to know what products you are taking. There are many versions of Mucinex- including DM,multi symptom, sinus, allergy etc. These other versions have additional things that you may not need. Stick with single ingredient medicines when you can.
