I bought a lipstick at a drugstore i used it and it looked like someone swatched it to see the color i immediatley took it off can i catch herpes?

Slight chance: There are two types of the herpes simplex virus, HSV1 and HSV2. HSV1 is the virus which is more frequently shed from the oral cavity, however both viruses do not live very long off the body. Yet, if someone with a cold sore used a tube of lipstick & then you used one very shortly afterward, there is a very small chance you could contract the virus. I wish you well with your health!
