A member asked:

Can you get herpes from sharing make up or lipstick?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely: Many think sharing cosmetics is not a good idea. Certainly if the person from whom you are sharing has active herpes on their face or lips, then you should not do this. However you undoubtedly have already been exposed in the past to herpes and as long as your lip and facial skin is intact, there is almost no risk.
