A member asked:

Have had intermittent tingling/numbness in 1 small area of lower lip (3 days). lasts 3-5 seconds/episode, has not spread. could be numb chin syndrome?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nerve: This sounds like an irritable superficial nerve in your lower lip. As long as the area involved isn't extending, it appears to be minor issue. A neurologist would be best qualified to evaluate and advise you if you have further concerns or if the symptoms persist or worsen.
