The place to go: If you are having an anaphylactic reaction the ER is the place to be. Typically they will monitor your vitals, and then treat. This can be various modalities, but most common would be IV antihistamine, steroid, H2 blocker and possibly epinephrine. Anaphylaxis can lead to airway obstruction, so if needed you may be intubated in severe cases. Also your blood pressure can drop. Do not mess around.
