Can be normal.: S. lugdunensis can be part of the normal bacteria which s found on the skin. In some cases, like other strep. germs it can also cause disease in some people, especially if there is a break in the skin or it gets into the blood.. It is very easily treated. Any skin germ can be transferred to another person. But it may not cause disease unless it also gets into the bleed or through the skin. .
