Eczema does not have to be a troublesome illness, but it is a chronic problem that requires vigilance to be effectively treated. Long term affects only if not managed correctly.

Needs evaluation: She needs to be evaluated either by her pediatrician or an allergist. Food allergies can some times present with eczema, since she is quite young, there are other conditions that needs to be ruled out as well.
