Cough is reflex: To anything that irritates throat. Infection, dryness, acid reflux are possibilities. If she has no fever and cough stops after a few times, it is probably nothing serious. If it persists or becomes worse, take her to a doctor to make sure there is nothing wrong with her lungs or throat.
