No: There is no reason to suspect lemon juice will help either an eye or throat infection. Antibiotics are treatment of choice; go see your doctor!

Will not hurt: Vitamin c in lemon juice will likely not hurt an eye or throat infection. There are no randomized studies to prove it helps viral infections to my knowledge. It will not hurt. Cold eeze (zinc lozenges) help prevent virus attachments to mucus membranes of the throat and have been shown to decrease the time of a viral throat infection/pharyngitis or cold.

Not really: Most "pink eye" and throat infections are caused by a viral infection. In the eye, the inner part of the eyelid and thin moist "skin"covering the eyeball-called the conjunctiva gets infected-its called "conjunctivitis." lemon juice and throat lozenges may make your throat feel better. And time. If its not better in a few days or you get thick discharge go see your doctor.
