Depends: Depending on the amount of exposure (and the sensitivity of the testing, assuming you are talking about drug screen testing, ) it can be present for 1-3 weeks after exposure.

Marijuana: Small amounts and irregular use, with a urine screening cutoff of 50 mcg should be 1-2 days. Regular use is up to 3-5 days, and excessive use can lead to a positive drug tests for weeks. We have all heard of heavy use for years with a positive drug test months after stopping, but this would be extremely rare.
