See a dentist!: Rather than masking your tooth ache with a narcotic, why don't you see a dentist for evaluation.

Probably not: Hydrocodone does pass through the placenta to a growing baby, but if needed to treat pain or injury, is usually safe. Generally it is combined with acetaminophen, which, although relatively safe, has been linked to more complications than hydrocodone alone.

Go to dentist before: I would recommend going to the dentist and getting all your teeth and oral health in check before you get pregnant. You do not want to have dental pain on top of pregnancy. Besides putting added stress on you, it puts added stress on the growing baby. Plus pregnancy cause pregnancy gingivitis. You must have impeccable oral health and oral hygiene during pregnancy.

See dentist: Take advill or tylenol (acetaminophen) to help w the pain. But get to a dentist asap. Lets eliminate the pain. Also get a thorough exam before pregnancy and make sure you are in good dental health overall!
