Many possibilities: If it is in the middle of the neck then dermoid, thyroglossal duct cyst, lymph node, thyroid isthmus nodule are most likely. If on the sides then lymph node ( benign or cancer), salivary gland tumor, branchial cleft cyst, thyroid lobe nodule are main possibilities. If it persists for more than two weeks see ent.
