A member asked:

What are the side affects of zoloaf? is it normal for a dr to put you on zoloaf if you have thyroid probelms (low) and low b12 (221)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It's ok: There's no hazard in taking zoloft (sertraline) if a person also has low thyroid and low vitamin b12, although the zoloft won't correct either of these problems. Zoloft helps depression, anxiety, and some other nervous conditions. Common side effects: dry mouth, upset stomach, restless legs, & decreased libido. However, most users tolerate it well.
