Varies: Your first gynecologist visit can be very informative. Be honest during your visit. An internal exam of your genitals will help determine if you need additonal treatments. Relax and let the doctor know if anything is uncomfortable. If you are sexually active, this exam is extremely important. Ask questions and treat this visit like you would any other routine visit.
