No: It's a mechanical axis problem. Surgical intervention is often required for genu varum (bow legs). Either total knee arthroplasty (older age individuals) or high tibial osteotomy (younger folks).

No: Bow legs, otherwise known as genu varum is a structural abnormality of the musculoskeletal system about the knee and placing any type of cream or topical ointment would not have any affect on the deformity itself. Although topical creams could certainly be used to treat the pain from it to various degrees of success. Thank you for the question.
