A member asked:

What can you do to fix bowlegs in adults?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bone remodeling: In general no treatment is given for having bowlegs (internal tibial torsion). When children have it they almost always remodel their bones as they start walking. Adults can't change the shape of their bones as easily but bones still respond to pressure. Theoretically you can do serial casting over many months (or years) to try to force the bones to straighten.
