Prob unrelated, but: Bad idea. Tetracycline drugs, including doxycycline, are photosensitizing- give you a worse sunburn, or rash, in resppnse to sun exposure. Nnumbness due to other causes, i.e. Nerve or vascular (blood vessel). Call your doc, especially if not promptly resolved. Don't do that again.

It could be a side : Effect of the antibiotics. There are anecdotal reports online of this symptom including tingling of extremities, partly related to the sunburn / photosensitivity from it. Try taking vitamin b complex - might help! next time, go sunbathing at night!
