Revisit your doctor.: Typically we doctors are trained to think of one disease--one diagnosis. However, the longer i practice medicine, the more I have come to realize that life is not so simple. We frequently have patients with strep and mononucleosis, or strep and influenza; so, maybe you have a "double diagnosis" as well. Please schedule a follow-up visit with your doctor. Some strep infxns express copathogenicity.
