When does medicine expire?

Depends.: Usually "beyond use" date is printed on the pharmacy container at dispensing. Most medicines are usually good far beyond those dates. How long? Depends. Each med is different and some meds should not be used beyond "expiration." for example: insulin, epinephrine, nitroglycerine and vaccines lose potency beyond their dates.
