Genetics: You're within the normal range for a 17 year old female, but if you don't have a chronic illness or genetic abnormality, you obviously didn't get the tall genes when you were conceived. However, if you have osteoporosis as you indicated and you're only 17 years old, then you definitely have a severe problem that needs at least an endocrinologist and better a metabolic bone specialist.
