One boy i care for constantly has an inflamed red penis. two years old and uncircumsised. what can cause this?

Infection/irritation: Infection or irritation can both trigger an angry red penis in a 2yr old. It is difficult to advise you without examining the toddler; this requires a "hands on" evaluation to determine the cause then the proper intervention. Call the mother & tell her that you will go with her to see the boy's pediatrician if she is embarrassed or unsure of herself. The child may need antibiotics or minor surgery.
