A member asked:

What can i do to improve or relieve symptoms of sinusitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Decrease swelling: The majority of symptoms in sinusitis are related to inflammation. Reversing the swelling using a combination of oral and topical decongestants (short term), steroid and saline nasal sprays and addressing bacteria with antibiotics will generally lead to the resolution of symptoms. In difficult cases, an oral steroid may be considered. This regimen should be done under the supervision of your md.
