You can't: Nothing will get rid of a cold. The zinc in coldeze may shorten the duration by a day or so. Symptomatic treatment will make it seem to pass more quickly. Throat lozenges for sore throat, pseudephedrine for nasal congestion, Robitussin-DM for cough and tylenol (acetaminophen) for pain and discomfort when needed are what i recommend.

Body will do it 4 u: The common cold is caused by respiratory viruses - even if you see a doctor, they can't do anything to get rid of it. You body's immune system will take care of the infection. All that one can really do is to provide symptomatic relief ( e.g. Acetaminophen for pain/ fever, Guaifenesin for cough/ congestion).
