See a Provider!: Constant dull pain in the breast at 47 is a condition that needs to be checked out. It could be a benign condition , such as fibrocystic breast disease, or it could be a malignancy. Also, women who wear underwire bras sometimes will get pain on the side of their breast where the wire comes, especially if the bras do not fit well and the cup size is too small.
