Can anti depressants turn you into a different person?

Not really: When antidepressants work, they relieve symptoms of depression so that you can be more yourself. Some people have been depressed or anxious their whole lives -- and when this is relieved, they may feel "better than well." others find themselves feeling numb to things which previously moved them emotionally. So a variety of responses, but not becoming a different person.
