Suspect vascular: This may be related to the blood flow in the skin of the penis and when you are erect the vessels on the top of the penis stretch and thus they are lighter. Your physician can clarify this.

Hmm: Hyperpigmentation on various parts if body is normal. The reason it becomes lighter is that when you are erect the surface area increases of the penis resulting in the cluster of pigmentation being difffused if you will to a larger surface area. Best wishes.
