Just developed geo tongue, will it always be present or come and go?

Moves around: Geographic tongue moves around. Another name for geographic tongue is benign migratory glossitis. There is some genetic predisposition and environmental conditions that may increase its prevalence. It can have an adult onset. Geographic tongue is said to occur more often in woman especially in high hormonal times. That being said depending on the condition, it could come and go or always be there.
