Biliary colic : Gallbladder attack/biliary colic generally right sided, above the umbilicus, can penetrate to back, lasts 20 mins or longer, associated nausea, bloating, vomiting. There are a small % of patients who experience the pain on the left side. Fatty foods make it worse. Negative ct abd/pelvic is reassuring but does not rule out gallbladder disease. Ultrasound of gallbladder, and/or tech hida will.
