Not recommended: Laser refractive surgery is generally not recommended for patients with glaucoma but it depends on many factors: is it early glaucoma, is prk planned? There may be exceptions to the general rule.

Probably: If you meet the other criteria for lasik such as proper power, enough corneal thickness, moist enough tears then glaucoma alone is not a reason against the surgery. Recall that if you have that at your age, you will need reading glasses afterwards.L.

Only if controlled: LASIK and PRK is considered safe in mild cases of glaucoma which are well controlled and where significant damage to the optic nerve has not occurred. It is probably best to avoid refractive surgery in cases which require multiple medications or where significant damage to the optic nerve has occurred. LASIK and PRK do lead to falsely low readings of intraocular pressures but this can be factored
