No: Unfortunately no. See your doctor for help getting pregnant.

Yes and no: Fsh can be lowered but the drugs that will lower the fsh will also prevent pregnancy. The fsh level is not the problem. It is symptom that your ovarian reserve is low, meaning that you have fewer eggs.

A 37-year-old female asked:

I'm 37 and my LH level is abnormal at 0.8l and FSH is normal at 2.6 on my labs. What does this mean if I am trying to get pregnant?

Not very much: At your age, if you want to know what your "ovarian reserve" is, measuring fsh and lh alone can't do it. A test called a Clomiphene citrate challenge test (ccct) can be administered with timed blood draws to measure estrogen, fsh, and Progesterone can give an idea if your ovaries are still producing eggs and hormones efficiently. Best to speak to your doctor about it.

Depends: on the normal values for your lab as well as where you are in your menstrual cycle.

My FSH (5.6) is lower than LH (9.3) can i get pregnant?

Who knows?: But your lab results won't tell you either way. Values vary during the day, during the cycle, etc. They are not an indication of fertility, particularly when they're normal.

A 25-year-old male asked:

My wife's fsh is 2.59 and lh is 1.20 , are these normal values for a pregnancy

Low gonadotropins: The numbers seem to be on the low side. However, if your wife is already pregnant, it does not matter; if she wants to get pregnant and has regular cycles, it does not matter, either. If her cycles are irregular, she will be best off by seeing gynecologist/reproductive endocrinologist. I see low gonadotropins in women, who are depressed.
