Rebound headache: Your headache symptoms sound like common migraines, you should see a doctor to get a diagnosis and appropriate medication as needed. At this point, some of your headache problems may be due to "rebound headaches" which can be caused by overuse of otc meds such as excedrin or Ibuprofen on a regular basis.

Drug withdrawal H/A: You may be suffering from what is called a drug withdrawal headache. That is you need the pain medication or you will get the headache. After a while you need more and more. Would see a neurologist to help, as you will need to go cold turkey on the medication for the headache to go away.
