Depends : It depends on your individual body. Some of my patients find Benadryl (diphenhydramine) works well but they get quite tired after taking this . Others find zyrtec works well for them and can be less sedating . Still others find Allegra or Atarax better for them . So you may have to try several of them to see if it helps your condition.
