1-2 weeks: Depends on how you heal, but if an "ordinary" cut/scrape heals for you in about 5-10 days (or 1-2 weeks), then so should the piercing. Rarely, they stay open, but usually only with holes that have been present for a long time.

HOPE soon: As soon as you remove your lip ring the track will start to obliterate and you barely see it in few wks , or some times never closes like your ear ring holes, and may need a procedure to close completely.
