PCO risks: If you have pco syndrome and have not been menstruating normally, you are at risk for endometrial hyperplasia. This is thickening of the endometrial lining which eventually can lead to endometrial cancer. An endometrial biopsy is usually indicated and potentially a pelvic ultrasound.
