My baby is of 2 year, she has sleep for 6-8 hrs only, how many hrs is recommended ?

Typically over 10: People get hung up over absolute numbers. The ideal 2 year old sleeps around 10-11 hours at night, and naps around 2 hours during the day. However, some sleep more, and some less. The question is, how are they when they are awake? If the baby is happy and alert, then there is enough sleep. It's important to remember it's total sleep time, not just at night.

7-8 hour is OK.: Try not to count sleep hours. Generally i recommend 7-8 hours at night with 1-2 naps but honestly two-year-olds are the busiest unemployed people on the earth. You may only get 1 solid nap in for 40-60 minutes and this will suffice. Also, a child may sleep 12 hours one night and 8 hours the next and average ~ 10 hours a night.
