Depression: Maybe you need some counseling to deal with your chronic illness. There also may be some appropriate rx for you to help get you over this hump and then feeling like you want to have fun in your life again. If you are suicidal at all, please seek medical attention immediately.

Depression: Go see your family doctor or psychiatrist for possible depression. Psychotherapy or counseling is great but may not be enough for some people in which case medications might be helpful. You'll need to find right medication at right dose for you w/your doctor's help. If you ever feel like hurting yourself or others, call 911 immediately and seek emergent medical evaluation. Find support group too.

Depression: Sounds like you need to see someone. Start with your pcp who knows your situation.Discuss these issues and see if he wishes to start you on some medication. He may feel a referral to a psychologist or psychiatrist may be in order.
