Can't be too low!: Cholesterol can never be too low, at least not w/o medication. It's the major component of our cell walls and makes up many hormones. Some people, perhaps you, are born w/genetically lower levels of cholesterol (just as others are born w/high levels). Don't aim to purposely bring up your cholesterol unless you're referring to HDL cholesterol, in which case, exercise is key. Strenuous intense exerc.

Low is good: Low total cholesterol is good. Low HDL cholesterol is probably what you are interested in, and things that may help increase level include exercise, red wine, medications, weight loss, cholesterol binding agents.
