Not really: 1st, aren't you wrong age & gender to worry about rapaflo (silodosin)? It's used for older guys w/enlarged prostates. Essentially 2 versions of these Alpha blockers. Older generation lowers blood pressure, too, while new generation, like rapaflo (silodosin), does not. In general, all work same. But an individual might feel benefit from one vs other but no way for doc to predict which is best (aside from need to lower bp).

Not really: Rapaflo (silodosin) has a faster onset of action but once you're on therapy, efficacy is pretty similar.
