OS and MD: Although there are many possible causes of burning tongue, in many cases it is not easily established. It would be unlikely for antibiotics to help in these situations. I would consult an oral surgeon or a dentist trained in oral medicine first. You might also want to consult with a physician to rule out any medical issues.

Burning tongue: A burning tongue could be a reaction to the antibiotics you took. Tell you doctor before you take that antibiotic again or you could have a more severe reaction.

Takes time to regain: The key to your question is a month of antibiotics, which could have changed your 'normal flora' of bacteria on your tongue and in your gut. It takes time to regain the flora that is normal for your body. Something to try is yogurt with active cultures. Give it time. Why did you take the antibiotics? Consider seeing a different health care doctor for additional opinions.
