If it is a replacement: stiffness, loosening of components, wear on the bearing surfaces, infection, blood clots, and general anesthesia risks. (that is a summary, not all inclusive). If it is just a scope: bleeding, nerve damage, infection, stiffness, continued pain, portal fistula, blood clots, and anesthesia risks. See an ortho surgeon.
