No information ??: It depends how high, what ratio (ldl/hdl/triglycerides), and whether you have a family history of similar. If more than 20-30% above normal range, likely diet and exercise will not work without major life changes you may not stick to--so will need to be on medication from the -statin family. Talk to your dr about options.
