Swollen LN: Truly swollen lymph nodes for 2 years need to be evaluated further, at least starting by doing some simple blood tests.

Yes, lymph node: Enlargement can be caused by infection, inflammation, or malignancy. If it is less than 1cm, it is rarely important. If your blood tests are normal, then i wouldn't worry. If it has not worsened in 2 years, it probably will stay the same. The only way to know for sure is a biopsy, a surgical procedure, and your doctor probably doesn't think its necessary.
