Possibly: Pain is a common reason for admission -- if your pain cannot be controlled with oral medications, your providers will at least have to consider admission.

Probably not: It is kind of rare to be hospitalizes for low back pain in todays world as opposed to ~ 30 years ago go see an orthopedic surgeon or a pm&r doctor or a neuro surgeon to get some work up done start with you pcp is also a good idea.
