Similar Nerve Supply: Pelvic organs and the lower back has similar nerve supply. When you get uterine contractions with your menstrual cycle, some women will get sciatica pain as well called referred pain. If the pain is not relieved by Motrin and only occurs with menses, it can also be endometriosis. If the pain is present at other times then see a specialist for your spine. Good Luck.
