How high should my blood pressure avg during the day?

Blood pressure: Hypertension is defined as 140/90. Blood pressure will fluctuate all day long but below 140/90 does not require any treatment.

Normal ranges: This will depend on your height and weight and age -- in general, and generously the acceptable range of average BP should be around 100-140 systolic (top number). Unfortunately, the bottom number (diastolic) is less accurate using portable or automatic BP machine. Then, if you have a BP concern, bring your numbers and discuss it with your doctor ok.
