Bronchitis: 36 year old woman with PMH of GERD, asthma, meningioma with acute bronchitis and asthma exacerbation managed with 20mg prednisone BID and clarithromycin. Studies show that 90% of bronchitis is due to a virus and antibiotics are not helpful most of the time. Bronchitis symptoms last about 3 weeks.
