I have bronchitis.. on biaxin (clarithromycin) for 24 hrs and 20 mg of prednisone 2x day. asthma flare up. nebulizer 3-4 hrs day. coughing green stuff. when will heal?

Bronchitis: 36 year old woman with PMH of GERD, asthma, meningioma with acute bronchitis and asthma exacerbation managed with 20mg prednisone BID and clarithromycin. Studies show that 90% of bronchitis is due to a virus and antibiotics are not helpful most of the time. Bronchitis symptoms last about 3 weeks.
